Our Health Guarantee
Peace of Mind for You
and Your Chihuahua Puppy
This is our contract and it outlines our guarantee that we offer with each of our chihuahua puppies. Please feel free to look over and if you have any questions whatsoever please send us a message we are happy to help.
A Healthy Start for Your New Puppy
Bringing home a new chihuahua puppy is an exciting time, and we want you to feel confident knowing that your puppy’s health and well-being are important to us.
At Fuzzy Chihuahuas, we do everything we can to give each puppy a healthy start before they leave our care. Every puppy goes home after being examined by our veterinarian and with a current health certificate stating that they were found free of visible signs of infection and contagious or communicable disease at the time of examination.
Our chihuahua puppies are raised with care, socialization, and attention to their health during those important early weeks. Once your puppy joins your family, continuing regular veterinary care, proper nutrition, vaccinations, and lots of love will help keep them happy and healthy as they grow.
We ask that new families have their puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within three business days of bringing them home and keep accurate records of their puppy’s veterinary care.
Our One-Year Health Guarantee
We stand behind the chihuahua puppies we raise with a one-year health guarantee against life-threatening congenital defects, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in our written guarantee.
If a qualifying congenital condition is identified during the guarantee period, our contract explains the veterinary documentation required and the steps to take so we can work through the situation with you.
Because some common puppy illnesses, parasites, environmental exposures, and other conditions are not covered, we encourage every family to carefully read the complete guarantee before bringing their puppy home.
Protecting Your Chihuahua Puppy
Young puppies are still developing their immune systems and completing their vaccination series. We recommend being especially careful about exposing your new puppy to places frequently visited by unfamiliar dogs until your veterinarian tells you it is safe.
Our health guarantee also includes an important note specifically for Chihuahua families about the molera, or soft spot that Chihuahua puppies can have on the top of their head. Extra care should be taken to protect this area, particularly during a puppy's first year.
